About this grant

Smithsonian fellowships support research in residence at Smithsonian museums, research centers, and the National Zoo by graduate students, predoctoral students, postdoctoral researchers, and senior scholars. Fellows conduct independent research using Smithsonian collections, facilities, and staff expertise in disciplines including anthropology, art history, environmental science, evolutionary biology, and astrophysics.
