Title X is the only federal grant program dedicated solely to providing comprehensive family planning and related preventive health services. Funded clinics offer contraceptive counseling and supplies, STI testing and treatment, cancer screenings, pregnancy testing, preconception health care, and referrals at no cost or on a sliding-fee scale for people with low incomes. Title X-funded sites serve approximately 2 million patients annually and are required to serve all patients regardless of their ability to pay.
