The four MSP levels — Qualified Medicare Beneficiary (QMB), Specified Low-Income Medicare Beneficiary (SLMB), Qualifying Individual (QI), and Qualified Disabled Working Individual (QDWI) — each cover different Medicare cost-sharing based on income. QMB participants may not be billed by Medicare providers for cost-sharing, even if the provider doesn't accept Medicaid.
